Camelback Resort Waterpark Admission Policy

Welcome to Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark and Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark! To ensure a

safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please respect the following rules:

• Attractions may have specific height, weight, and safety requirements. Please refer to

the Safety Guide sign posted at each attraction to make an informed decision as to

whether the attraction is right for you.

• Please refrain from running, horseplay, and other boisterous activities.

• For safety reasons, diving is not permitted at any attraction.

• Aquatopia and Camelbeach Waterpark are non-smoking. For the convenience of all our

guests, smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is only permitted in the

designated outdoor smoking areas.

• Please secure all loose articles, including hats, glasses, and jewelry when riding.

Cameras, cell phones, and video recording devices may not be used on any slide or in

any changing area or restroom.

• Water toys, whistles, and inflatable assists are not permitted.

• Masks and snorkels are not permitted on any water attraction.

• Hearing devices or any other electronic devices may be damaged by water. Please take

the necessary steps to protect such items.

• According to crowd size, time at the water attractions and access to Aquatopia or

Camelbeach may be limited.

• Children should be supervised. Guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a

guest aged 14 or older to enter Aquatopia or Camelbeach Waterpark.

Our Aquatics staff is here to ensure that you have a safe and pleasant visit. First aid staff and

waterpark supervisors are available throughout the area should you have any questions or need

assistance. Please follow all lifeguard rules and instructions, but do not talk to or distract the

lifeguards while they are on duty.

Prohibited Items

All persons, bags, parcels, clothing, and other items may be subject to screening/security checks

upon entry to Aquatopia or Camelbeach Waterpark.

• Firearms, ammunition, knives, and weapons of any kind.

• Self-defense or restraining devices (e.g., pepper spray, mace)

• Marijuana (including marijuana enriched products) or any illegal substance.

• Objects or toys that appear to be firearms or weapons.

• Fireworks or other similarly explosive and/or flammable objects, smoke machines or fog

machines.

• Glass of any kind

• Coolers/Bags/lunch boxes of food and beverage

• Any non-resort food and beverage

• Alcohol

• Horns, whistles, large megaphones, or artificial noise makers.

• Recreational devices such as drones, remote-controlled toys, skateboards, scooters,

inline skates, or shoes with built-in wheels.

• Non-Coast Guard approved floatation devices or swim noodles.

• One (1) unopened bottle of water or empty water container will be allowed per person.

We reserve the right to prohibit the use or storage of any other item not listed above that we

determine may be harmful or disruptive, in our sole and absolute discretion.

Prohibited Activities

• The sale of goods or services, or the display of goods or services, unless prior written

approval has been obtained.

• The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind unless prior written

approval has been obtained.

• Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of Aquatopia or

Camelbeach.

• Unauthorized access or entry into employee only areas.

• Unauthorized events, speeches, or use of any flag, banner, sign, or other material for

commercial purposes, or as part of a demonstration.

• Photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind, or otherwise engaging in any

activity, for unapproved commercial purposes.

• Unauthorized solicitations of any kind, whether commercial, religious, educational, or

otherwise, or conducting any unauthorized commercial activities, including solicitations

of money or other contributions or donations.

• Obstructing walkways, entrances, or exits.

• Running, skipping, or any horseplay that may result in injury of self or others.

• Using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive, or offensive behavior, jumping

lines or saving places in lines for others.

We reserve the right to prohibit any other activity not listed above that we determine may be

harmful or disruptive, in our sole and absolute discretion.

Attire Policy

• Appropriate and family-oriented swimwear is required. Thongs or transparent clothing

are not permitted. We reserve the right to determine the appropriateness of swimwear.

• Guests wearing bathing attire with metal buttons, rivets, zippers, or snaps will not be

permitted to ride any body-slide.

• Footwear is not permitted on FlowRider, or any body-slide. Aqua socks or aquatic style

footwear are permitted in Children Areas, Wavepools, and Lazy Rivers.

• Guests requiring any special accommodation may contact the aquatics management

team. Specifically designed attire made from lycra or nylon type materials will be

considered. Due to attraction manufacturer requirements, some riding restrictions may

apply.

• All guests who require a diaper are required to wear swim diapers or a diaper

specifically designed for aquatic use.

We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we

consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other guests. If you

do not have appropriate bathing attire, swimsuits and other aquatic gear can be purchased at

merchandise locations throughout the resort.

Lifeguard Training

To provide a safe and enjoyable waterpark experience for our guests. Camelback Resort

routinely utilizes training exercises to improve our lifeguards’ skills and vigilance. These

exercises will occur during normal operating hours and may consist of the following:

submersible water manikins, the use of video surveillance equipment, internal and external

audits, active/inactive water rescues and/or first aid scenarios.

Lifejackets

Lifejackets are available for use throughout Aquatopia and Camelbeach Waterpark. Lifejackets

are complimentary and are available to any guest wishing to use one. Children, first-time

swimmers, and weaker swimmers are encouraged to wear a life jacket. Some attractions

require guests below a specific height to wear a lifejacket before participating in the attraction.

Aquatics staff and lifeguards reserve the right to impose the use of lifejackets as needed.

Guests are permitted to wear their own lifejacket; however, it must be U.S. Coast Guard

approved.

Sun Safety

Aquatopia provides a full day of fun indoors and Camelbeach provides a full day of fun outside!

To make the most of your day, be sure to drink plenty of water to avoid heat exhaustion.

Drinking fountains are located near each restroom. Water is also available at any food location.

Don’t forget to apply sunscreen frequently throughout the day. If you happen to forget your

sunscreen, merchandise locations throughout the resort have a variety of sunscreens available

for purchase.

First Aid

In Aquatopia the First Aid Station is located behind the cabanas at the beach of The Kanagawa

Wavepool. In Camelbeach the First Aid Station is located next to the Kahuna Lagoon Wavepool.

If you need any assistance during your visit, do not hesitate to stop by the First Aid Station, or

notify the nearest lifeguard. Our team would be glad to assist.

Lost Children

In the unlikely event that your child becomes separated, please alert an associate. Public

address pages cannot be broadcast in Aquatopia or Camelbeach Waterpark.

Lost & Found

If you happen to lose an item or leave an item behind while visiting, please stop by the entrance

of Aquatopia or Camelbeach Waterpark during regular operating hours.

Accessibility

Camelback Resort is committed to providing all our guests with an enjoyable visit. Guests with

disabilities are encouraged to contact us for information on the requirements for each

attraction. A water wheelchair is available for guests requiring additional assistance. Pool lifts

are available at Oasis, Kartrite’s Quest, and Mystic Springs in Aquatopia. Pool lifts are available

at the Olympic Pool in Camelbeach. During your visit, please speak to a member of our Aquatics

management team to obtain access to the water wheelchair or the pool lifts and for further

accessibility information.

Lockers

For your convenience, lockers are located throughout Aquatopia and Camelbeach Waterpark.

Various locker sizes are available for all your personal belongings. Camelback Resort cannot be

held responsible for lost or stolen items.

Cabana Rentals/VIP Seating

Relax and enjoy the privacy of your own Cabana or VIP seat. A limited number of exclusive

Cabanas and VIP Seats are available each day and often sell out. For more information and to

Ride Vehicles

Inner tubes, family rafts and mat racers are available free of charge at each attraction that

requires a vehicle to ride. Ride vehicles must remain at the attraction after riding.

Safe & Inclusive Environment

To maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all our guests and associates, we have a ZERO-

TOLORANCE POLICY regarding verbal abuse, including the use of profanity, physical threats,

violence, or sexual harassment. Anyone who exhibits these behaviors will be asked to leave the

resort and may be subject to legal action.

Line Jumping

Line jumping is defined as entering the line from any position other than the end of the line.

Leaving the attraction line and attempting to reenter or holding a spot for an individual or

group is also considered line jumping. Line jumping will result in immediate expulsion from the

park without a refund.

Weather Policy – Camelbeach

Weather may sometimes impact the operation of our attractions based on the severity of the

conditions. Camelbeach will not close for rain and we encourage you to look at the local

forecast when planning your adventure with us. If all of our attractions are closed due to

inclement weather for 90 consecutive minutes, no later than 2 hours before park closure, we

can reactivate your Camelbeach ticket for another day in the same operating season.

Company Rights

• Camelback Resort, including Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark and Camelbeach Outdoor

Waterpark is private property.

• We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or

voice of any person who enters Camelback Resort and use the same for any purpose

without payment to any person.

• We reserve the right to deny admission, prevent entry, or require a person already

admitted to leave Aquatopia and/or Camelbeach Waterpark without refund, liability, or

compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal, or

offensive behavior, to ensure safety, security, or order, or if we consider that the

circumstances otherwise so require, in our sole and absolute discretion.

• We may from time to time, in our sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice and

without refund, liability or compensation, change the operating hours of any facility,

attraction, or Aquatopia/Camelbeach Waterpark temporarily and/or restrict the number

of persons having access to a facility if we consider that the circumstances so require.

• We are not responsible for the loss or damage of belongings or property, consistent

with applicable law.
