Siri for Do Not Disturb
You can easily turn on Do Not Disturb using Siri.
Apple calls Siri a personal assistant. Siri helps you
do things like place a phone call, send a text
message on your Apple device, set calendar events
and reminders, get walking directions, set alarms, or
check the weather. You can also silence your phone
calls and notifications if you’re in a meeting, movie
theater, or a library where you don’t want to be
disturbed. Try using the Do Not Disturb setting on
Siri.
1. With your device in front of you, say, “Hey Siri,
turn on Do Not Disturb.”
Now your device remains silent.
2. You can ask Siri to turn your phone calls and
notifications back on. Say, “Hey Siri, turn off Do
Not Disturb.”
