Dear Parents,
We are pleased to inform you that your child demonstrated outstanding academic
achievement last year and/or this current school year. He/She is cordially invited to join
the National Elementary Beta Club chapter at Louisville Academy. Membership is only
open to 4th and 5th grade students.
The National Beta Club recognizes high academic achievement, promotes character and
social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, fosters
leadership skills and provides settings for your child to develop interpersonal
relationship skills.

To join, your student must pay the one-time Elementary national membership fee of
$16. Your child’s membership fee of $16 will be due by Friday, Sep 23, 2022.
Club meetings will be held twice a month with Mrs. Ashley Walker or Mrs. Rachel
McTier, two of the BETA Club Committee members. Students will also have the
opportunity to attend the Beta Convention this year. The convention gives students the
opportunity to participate in a variety of competitions that relate to the arts, academics,
technology, or service learning. More information about the convention will come closer
to the convention date.
We plan to host an induction ceremony on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. The ceremony will
begin promptly at 5:00 pm in the school’s cafeteria. We cordially invite your student and
their family to attend the ceremony. Please arrive 10 minutes early so students can take
their special seats. With this special ceremony, we ask that students wear their Sunday
best!
