Interested in joining the 2020 Davis Lake Dolphins?
Why join the Dolphins?
Its great fun! There are very few opportunities where children ranging in ages from 5-18 can
all participate on a team together. Summer swim provides a unique opportunity for your child
to develop as a swimmer, make friends, and be a part of a community team with kids of all
ages. The team includes swimmers who are fairly new to the sport, returning summer
swimmers, and year-round competitive swimmers. Regardless of swimming skill level – there
is a place for everyone on our team!
Email Marianne Hlebak at mbhlebak@carolina.rr.com for more information.

BOOK CLUB
Why join a book club? Well, you get to meet interesting neighbors, see stories from someone
else’s point of view and expand on the types of books you are exposed to. You get to know
your neighbors beyond the “hello” at the pool, learn about new authors and read books you
may have never picked on your own. The club would meet once a month at the Clubhouse or
a member’s house to discuss a book that was chosen by a member of the group. The member
that chose the book can host and lead the discussion.
Bring appetizers, drinks and conversation!

We suggest that you file the approved ARC application, once it is reviewed and returned to you, with your home
owners documentation. This serves as proof that you have complied with, sought approval and been granted
permission to make the above changes or additions to your home site.
Directions to Owner:
The Declaration of Covenants requires that you submit to the Architectural Review Committee for approval all
proposed exterior additions or alterations to your house and lot. In order to be considered by the Architectural Review
Committee your application must include detailed information describing the proposed change (typically, plans and
specifications including sketches, photos, catalog illustrations, etc. showing the nature, kind, shape, color,
dimensions, and materials; and a copy of the survey with the location marked). Make sure your application is
complete. An application submitted without all required submissions will be considered incomplete. In such case, the
Architectural Review Committees review period will not commence until all required submissions have been
provided. Other exhibits may be requested to permit adequate evaluation of the proposed change. If you have any
questions regarding the required submissions or the application process, you are advised to seek guidance from an
ARC representative prior to submission of an application. All ARC applications must have an original homeowner
signature and date. Therefore, no applications can be accepted via email. ARC applications may either be given to
your ARC representative or put in the DLCA clubhouse mailbox. Please contact your ARC rep if you need further
assistance.
Description of Proposed Change: (Please print or type in black ink)
Describe all proposed exterior improvements or alterations to your lot or home. Please provide required details by
attaching sketches, drawings, clippings, pictures, catalog illustrations, and a copy of your house location survey
(recorded plat) with the location of the modification marked, etc. to fully describe the proposed change. If proposed
request is for paint only, plan is not required.
