“12 Months of Flowers” Fundraising Card Program Revised June 28, 2019 Page 1 of 2
“12 Months of Flowers” Fundraising Card Program
As a locally owned and family-operated business since 1960, we love having the opportunity to support our
Reno-Sparks community that has supported us for so many years. We’ve developed a great opportunity for
tax-exempt groups to raise money by offering a great product at an exceptional value!
What Is It?
The “12 Months of Flowers” fundraising card allows each
cardholder to present their card once a month, for 12
consecutive months, at either Sparks Florist
®
retail stores
and receive a wrapped bouquet of fresh, seasonal flowers.
Each bouquet is a $15 value and is available any day and
time that our retail stores are open (with the exception of a
few blackout dates). Each card carries a value of $180, but
is sold for only $40!
How It Works
Your tax exempt group does not have to pay any money
upfront! Your group will estimate how many cards you can
sell—and don’t worry, we can always print more if you sell
out. Your group will sell the fundraising cards for $40 each
to friends, family, coworkers, etc. and 25% of the proceeds
($10) from each card sold goes directly to your group.
When your card sales period is over (usually 30-60 days),
your group will return any unsold cards, along with 75% of
the money collected ($30) from each card sold, to Sparks
Florist, Inc. Your group will be responsible for all cards
printed and must be careful not to lose any cards! Any lost,
missing, or unreturned cards will be deemed as “sold” and
your group will be required to pay $30 per card.
