ThisQuickHelpdocumentisdesignedtowalkthenVisionuserthroughtheprocessofendingaremoteappsessionfornvisionclient.Thiscanbeausefulself‐help

whenasessionishunguporunresponsive.TheRemoteAppConnectionusedbynVisionisa‘tunnel’intotheserverwhichho

usesthenVisionclient.nVisionclient

usersshouldalreadyhaveaccess tothiscomputerandshouldnotrequireanysetuptoperformthesesteps.

IfyouareusingtheremoteapptoaccessthenVisionclientandyoursessionunexpectedlyhangsuporbecomesnon‐responsive,youcantakethe

followingstepstocloseoutor“kill”yoursessiononHarmony(theserver).

Option1‐TaskManageronRemoteServer

1. Ifyoursessionisstuckand/oryoureceivethebelowerror,youcanunlockitbydoingthefollowing:Onyourcomputerkeyboard,pressCtrl+

Alt+Endtogether.

1. Onyourworkstation,clicktheStartMenuiconinthebottomleft‐handcorner.(Windows10usersmayneedtheRemoteDesktop

Connectionactivatedontheirmachine.Ifso,pleasecontactyourlocalITsupportdesk.)

2. SelecttheRemoteDesktopConnectionprogram.Ifitisnotimmediatelyvisible,type“RemoteDesktopConnection”inthesearchbox.
